Ceramic Coatings for Exhaust Components
B and B Precision offer professionally applied ceramic coatings for your manifolds, pipes or turbo chargers in a range of colours which come from the power mix, not painted.
Ceramic Coating will reduce the surface temperature within the exhaust by up to a third making them a fantastic as a heat insulator. This in turn will mean cooler intake temperatures and more power. This technique has been adapted by many motorsport competitors including Formula 1 and is commonly used on any part that will experience high temperatures.
Exhaust coatings are available to both public and trade.
Our payment options include card on site / over the phone or by BACS. We require payment by pro forma invoice, however business customers can apply for a 30 day account subject to credit check.
Professionally applied Charcoal Grey Exhausts Coating
Our customer has opted for Charcoal grey colour on his modified car, one of our four colour options. This will provide some performance benefits, by reducing underbody temperature under the car it improves the ability to tune the car for performance. This technology which originated in Formula 1 has been utilised for years in an effort to reduce heat transfer around the exhaust and turbo systems. We take ceramic materials in powder form and heat them up and fire them out at extreme velocities. This impacts the metal of the exhaust and forms an incredibly strong bond with a low porosity. This will make your part more wear and corrosion resistance and should never flake off.
Our Exhaust Coating Colour options
These coating options are not painted on. The colours come from the ceramic metal powder mix which is then spray coated onto the exhaust. Colours may vary slightly but here are examples of previously coating parts.
